Weekly “Emotions Anonymous” meetings on Wednesday evenings. EA consists of emotional support for anger, depression, grief, anxiety, and other emotional struggles. EA was founded in 1971, involves group meetings, and applies a 12-step approach adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous to help with emotional challenges. EA is based on 12 Steps, 12 traditions, 12 concepts, and 12 promises.
This group will be led by an experienced facilitator from the area whose group had been traveling 45 minutes to the closest meeting place. We are happy that DMIW can offer a space for our community to meet. If you struggle with your emotions, see if this might be a meeting that could help you.
