SUMMARY:Youth Mental Health First Aid
DESCRIPTION:FREE: Youth Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour class is designed to help parents\, teachers\, coaches\, grandparents\, and anyone who is around youth to recognize warning signs of alcohol/substance abuse\, depression\, suicide risk\, and how to get help. There is a lunch and learn option for NARCAN training\, each participant will leave with a NARCAN kit for emergency use. \nSnacks\, drinks\, and lunch will be provided by DMIW. \n*$150 stipend for Gwinnett/Buford school system employees to attend paid by GUIDE\, Inc. \nRegister for Class Here \nSpace is limited to 18 participants per class\, registration will close once full and/or 5 days prior to the date of the class.
